  • Children's Pastor

    Kim Bradley

Pastor Kim loves Jesus and loves telling kids about Jesus! Children’s ministry is more than a job to her, it’s a blessing! She believes in helping kids learn who God is, through the story of Jesus Christ, but making sure that kids also understand they are known by God too. She wants kids to know that “who” they are and “whose” they are matter and sets the foundation for life as a Christian teen and throughout their adult years.

Kim and her husband, Jerry were married in 1990, and have two children. Jerry retired from a career in Law Enforcement after 25 years, and is currently the Nashville Branch Manager of Apex Security Co.

Their daughter, Kylie is married to Jordan and they reside in Portland with their two dogs, Spot and Ford. Kylie is a 2013 graduate of PHS and a 2018 graduate of Olivet/Trevecca Nazarene University.

Their son, Robbie is a 2020 PHS graduate and is currently a student at Vol State Community College working toward a degree in Criminal Justice. Robbie also volunteers with the Highland Volunteer Fire Dept.

Kim completed and received her Certificate in Ministry Preparation through Nazarene Bible College and was Ordained an Elder at the MidSouth District Assembly in the Spring of 2019. She loves going out to eat and catching a movie with her husband, family dinner night, and cheering on the Nashville Predators and the Kentucky Wildcats!

  • Church Secretary

    Bev Embry

Bev was born and raised in Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Olivet Nazarene

University. Following graduation Bev married her roommate’s brother, Jeff. For over 20 years they moved wherever the United States Air Force sent them, including twice to Germany.

They have four daughters: Kristi (lives in Missouri), Krista (lives in Tennessee), Keri (stationed with the Air Force in Nevada), and Kandi (stationed in Virginia with the Air Force). Kandi’s husband, Jon, is retired from the Air Force. They have three children-Kirsten (stationed in North Dakota with the Air Force), Amara, and Chase.

Bev enjoys time with family and taking walks on the beach.

  • Youth Minister

    Keegan Reckinger

Keegan is originally from Freeport, Illinois and attended Olivet Nazarene University for a year after graduating from high school. After a four year enlistment in the United States Marine Corps, Keegan relocated to Bethpage in order to attend Trevecca Nazarene University; studying for his bachelor’s in Religion with a minor in world history.

On any given day you could find Keegan doing one of many things. He has a love for knowledge and learning, whether that be from a hands-on task or a book. Reading, fishing, shooting, working on his truck, traveling, and spending quality time with Ty and Attila (his girlfriend and dog) are a few things that Keegan loves.

Although he would tell you that he did not picture himself as a youth minister at the time of his calling, Keegan has a heart for what unique obstacles the youth of our time go through on a day-to-day basis. Life for youth can be confusing and like navigating without a compass at times but Keegan brings his experiences, struggles, and own challenges to the teens, confronting difficult questions early on that can grow into complications with grave consequences in young adulthood. Keegan is here to be a leader, guide, defender, and friend of the youth of Portland Nazarene Church!
