This will be a seminar by Karyn Purvis about kids who have suffered from trauma and how us teachers can connect with them in our classrooms. The seminar will be at no cost to, but the leader of the day is asking for $15 for a catered lunch. There are three different date that you can attend the same TBRI and Trauma seminar: June 2, 13, and 28 from 9am-3pm. While this seminar is taking place in our building, it is not affiliate with the Nazarene Church. This is a seminar by Karyn Purvis led in our building my Karen Martinez, a member of our community and a SCS teacher. The day is to be focused on you as teachers and how to help your students. We hope you are able to attend as we come together to help the kids within our community!
